Bonfire Night

As the smell of gun powder smoke and the snap and cracle of bonfires fill the autumn air, Guy Fawkes night is celebrated the width and breadth of the country.

This night in the calendar month is to celebrate the failed plot of blowing up Parliament in 1605 as we all know.

In 1606 Parliament agreed to make the 5th of November a day of public thanksgiving and ever since then the day has been celebrated with fireworks and bonfires.

As more and more people look upwards, the need for a spectacular show is all the more important.
