Pet Welfare & Fireworks

The team at Ultimate Fireworks are passionate about their displays, the joy, the fun and excitement they bring to vast numbers of people, however we recognise there are some members of the family that fireworks can cause distress.

Family pets – cats dogs and horses, here are a few brief tips to help:

 Cat

Cats:

  • Keep your cat indoors
  • Close all windows and the curtains switch on the television to drown out the noise
  • Let your cat take refuge in a corner of the room or under a table do not try to temp it out as this could cause more stress

Dogs:

  • Exercise your dog during the day
  • Never walk your dog while fireworks are being let off
  • As with cats keep your dog indoors close the curtains and play music or turn on the television to drown out the noise
  • Let your dog hide if it wants to or take refuge under the furniture or in a corner
